This directly leads to a high rate of product scrap, hindering the large-scale mass production and quality improvement of thermal transfer printed quartz stone. Coupled with the three persistent pain points in the industry - product homogeneity, residual harmful solvents in some resin systems, and insufficient supply of high-end supporting resins - domestic thermal transfer printed quartz stone is unable to fully unleash its market competitiveness.

In the speech, Lu Xudong focused on introducing the specialized technical research conducted by Fangxin Resin on the thermal transfer printing scenario. Centering on three major aspects: the thermal stability of resin molecules under high-temperature conditions, the infiltration property of quartz powder, and the low-volatile and environmentally friendly formulation, the R&D team systematically optimized the resin molecular structure, the acid-alkali monomer ratio, and the high-temperature resistance and anti-yellowing additive system, developing the heat transfer printing quartz stone-specific unsaturated resins FX-8801, FX-8802, and FX-8803 series products. This resin is suitable for high-temperature processing conditions of 190-210℃ in thermal transfer printing, effectively inhibiting the phenomenon of high-temperature yellowing; it also takes into account high hardness and moderate toughness, reducing the risk of plate cracking and warping during the hot pressing process; at the same time, it optimizes the adhesion between the resin and the quartz sand powder, ensuring clear transfer pattern texture, high color reproduction accuracy, excellent pattern adhesion, and reducing smudging, blank edges, and other undesirable problems. In terms of environmental protection, the product's optimized formulation system reduces the addition of toxic and harmful solvents, takes into account the occupational health and safety of the production workshop, and conforms to the industry's green development orientation.

"For heat transfer quartz stone to truly break through, it cannot rely solely on equipment and transfer consumables. The base material resin is the underlying key factor," said Lu Xudong. Traditional general-purpose resins cannot meet the high-temperature conditions of the new process, which is also the core reason why many board enterprises have difficulty increasing the yield rate after installing heat transfer production lines. Fangxin heat transfer-specific resin aims to fill the gap in domestic material production, allowing domestic board enterprises to produce high-quality heat transfer quartz stone stably without completely relying on imported resins. This will enable them to escape the low-price competition, create distinctive patterned boards with premium pricing, and expand into high-end application markets such as home decoration, industrial background walls, and countertops. "

At the same time, he emphasized that the upgrading of the heat transfer printing quartz stone industry cannot be achieved without the synergy of the entire industrial chain. The purity and grading of quartz sand aggregates, the resin bonding system, the heat transfer printing ink, and the process parameters need to be mutually matched.
